Disassembly and assembly method of excavator slewing bearing

1. Installation method of excavator slewing bearing

(1) Installation plane

Before installing the excavator slewing bearing, it is necessary to check the mark and certificate to ensure that the model of the slewing bearing used is correct. If there are welding beads, burrs, paint residues, etc. on the surface of the excavator slewing bearing, it should be removed in time. Make sure that the cleaning solvent does not enter the inside of the slewing bearing, and the solvent used cannot damage the sealing material of the slewing bearing. When installing, make sure that the installation surface is dry.

(2) Mounting the support

The roughness of the mounting surface of the mounting support shall be controlled within the allowable range and shall not exceed the standard value range.

(3) Positioning

The inner and outer raceways of the slewing bearing are equipped with a soft belt, which should be placed on both sides of the main load surface, that is, 90 degrees away from the main load area, and the soft belt is blocked or marked with an S mark.

(4) Check

When the installation is completed, it should be checked (usually with a feeler gauge) whether the slewing bearing matches the installation surface. If the match is not good, it should be filled with suitable materials. After the excavator slewing bearing is installed, the bracket is prohibited from welding.

2. Disassembly method of excavator slewing bearing

(1) Disassembly of the outer ring of the slewing bearing

When the outer ring of the excavator slewing bearing is disassembled, multiple outer rings should be fixed around the outer ring to squeeze the screw, and then the screw should be spun with a uniform force, so that it can be removed quickly. Such threaded holes generally have separable bearings, such as blind plugs, tapered roller bearings, etc. We set a number of incisions on the outer wall of the rotary support, and then use a nylon spacer to remove it with a pressure head, and tap lightly when disassembling, so that The slewing bearing can be prevented from being damaged.

(2) Disassembly method of through-hole slewing bearing

When disassembling the slewing bearing of the through-hole excavator, it can be removed directly by the hydraulic press. It should be noted that when working, try to force the inner ring as much as possible. If it is a large-diameter slewing bearing, the hydraulic disassembly method can be used. , the oil nozzle on the slewing bearing applies oil pressure to make the slewing bearing easier to pull and disassemble; if it is a slewing bearing with a larger inner and outer diameter, it is recommended to use the oil pressure method, which can effectively remove the oil nozzle and make the slewing bearing easier to disassemble; rollers The inner ring of the slewing bearing can be disassembled by heating expansion method. By heating, the inner ring of the slewing bearing can be thermally expanded in a short time, and then it can be disassembled quickly.

(3) Disassembly method of threaded hole type slewing bearing

When disassembling the slewing bearing of the threaded hole type excavator, the inner ring of the slewing bearing can be supported by a stopper, and after tightening the nut several times, it can be knocked off with a plastic hammer. The oil pressure method is adopted, the oil is pressurized in the rotary support oil hole, and the oil is pressurized in the rotary support oil hole of the threaded hole, and the inner ring is disassembled when the inner ring expands. During the operation, the slewing bearing is in danger of coming out. At this time, the nut can be used as a baffle to avoid accidents.

(4) Knock removal method

Compared with the above methods, knocking and disassembling is a relatively simple disassembling method of slewing bearing. The side impact force of the plastic hammer can be used to make the slewing bearing displace and separate from each other. In the actual disassembly process of the excavator slewing bearing, many people will Use this method for disassembly. Before disassembly, it is necessary to add grease to the connection of the slewing bearing, and then use a plastic hammer to directly disassemble it.

Note: After the disassembly of the excavator slewing bearing is completed, the disassembled parts need to be properly stored to avoid loss.
